Vocala Youth Girls Choir

​​Vocala includes students from Grades 7-12. Many of these talented choir members are also instrumentalists who belong to various HRA ensembles at the Dartmouth Music Centre. Under the direction of Melissa Hartery and accompanied by June Rigden, the choir has performed concerts throughout Nova Scotia and received Gold Standings at the Kiwanis Music Festival in Halifax and the Truro Music Festival. Recently the choir received the Dr. Delaney award for best young choir at the Truro Music Festival. The HRA Music East is a program of the Halifax Regional Centre for Education.
