Lake Voices Honour Choir

The Lake Voices Honour Choir is open to boys and girls from grades 4-7 from Fall River, Waverley, Sackville, Bedford, and surrounding HRM areas. Rehearsals are held Mondays from 4:30 – 6:15 at Ash Lee Jefferson Elementary School.
We are looking for choristers who love to sing, and who will bring energy, a positive attitude, and commitment to benefit the whole ensemble. Singers will experience positive, engaging rehearsals that will provide them with a well-rounded choral education that includes healthy vocal production, musicianship, as well as theory and aural skill development. All this while fun making music with friends who love singing as much as they do!
Music will cover a wide range of styles, from traditional choral works, songs written specifically for young voices, song in foreign languages, spirituals, folk songs from home and around the world as well as arrangements of jazz and popular music. There is something for everybody!
The Lake Voices Honour Choir is directed by Lisa Webb and accompanied by Cynthia Davies.
