Bravo Boys' Choir
-Jodie Miller -
TheBravo Boys' Choir is a Dartmouth area school honor choir which is a section of the Halifax Regional Centre of Education. It provides a positive choral opportunity for auditioned male students from grades 4-8 with unchanged voices. The choir rehearses once a week on Tuesdays at the Dartmouth Music Centre from 4:00-5:40 p.m.
The boys choir offers a diverse range of musical taste and interests that include music from the pop, contemporary, spiritual, classical, cultural, and strong choral traditional influences. We value the diverse cultural richness that can be represented in presentations and concerts throughout the year. Teamwork is strongly advocated and the boys are encouraged to work together in unity while demonstrating respect for others. We endeavor to continue building a sense of citizenship and ownership in each of the boys who participate throughout the year.
The choir is directed by Robert Wilhelm, a highly respected music teacher in the HRCE. The accompanist is Charlotte Myers.
If you would like more information, or to book an audition, please contact Jodie Miller directly at jmiller@hrce.ca . Audition requirement is to sing O Canada.
