Junior Band

Grade 7
Non-auditioned
Conductor:  Reuben Bauer
The Dartmouth All-City Junior Band meets on Monday evenings at the Music Centre from 4:30 to 5:45.
This band is open to any grade 7 student who wants to play, provided you’re participating in your current school’s band program.  You may wish to join at any time in the school year.  There is a fee $50 which is used to pay for new music, instruments, and our Music Center assistants.
This is a training band, and is an excellent opportunity to meet students with similar interests from all over Dartmouth.  The band may open its doors to excelling grade 6 band students in late January, depending on the band’s need for certain instruments.
The Junior Band tours the Dartmouth schools early in the fall.  They will also perform in a holiday concert in early December, for the Kiwanis Committee in late Winter, a Band Night in early Spring, and a Band Showcase in late Spring.

Intermediate Band

Grades 8-10+
